Welcome to the 2006 edition of the GCVI Gazette. At the 2005 Commencement Ceremonies the Alumni Association presented the school with a totally restored Heintzman Concert Grand piano that looks and sounds fantastic! At the 2006 Commencement we will be presenting the “Penfold Prize” for the 100th consecutive year. Unfortunately, the “prize” is only $100 and for one of the most prestigious awards at the school this amount does not match the importance of the aware. It would be a big help if you could contribute to this award through the Upper Grand Learning Foundation. Please continue to send me your comments, questions an suggestion to the addresses listed in this newsletter. We would also like to hear from you if you are interested in joining our alumni executive team.
